F.A.Q.

Q: Can a kitchen really be done in 5 Days?

Yes! A kitchen can be done in five days when it meets the criteria of a 5 Day Kitchen. 5 Day Kitchens has spent a lot of time refining the production process and cut the time consuming parts of remodeling by using all in-house staff and craftsmen to complete your project in a very tight and efficient time frame. We understand the inconvenience of having your kitchen torn up for weeks so our process eliminates the worry.

Q: What if I want to do some of the work myself?

Here at 5 Day Kitchens we take great pride in being your one stop remodel shop. We are extensively trained in each phase of construction to be efficient and effective but we do understand that some people would like to contribute some sweat equity to their project. Some examples of things that our clients can do is demolition, painting & tile work.

Q: Can you move walls and make "Design" changes?

Our Masterpiece Kitchen category allows for all design changes including moving and adding walls. Our Classic Kitchen category however is a direct change out kitchen that follows the existing footprint of your kitchen.

Q: Why not re-surface or paint your cabinets?

After 28 years of remodeling kitchens we have found that it is LESS expensive to replace than reface. Re-facing glues a 1/32" veneer over the exterior of your worn out cabinets. The cabinet interiors and drawer boxes will be the same and it is very difficult to replace the drawer guides on existing drawers. So ask yourself, "Does it solve your problem and will it last 5, 10, 20 years?" Let me answer that you, "It won't." So why cover up a problem when you can have all brand new cabinets, which come with a warranty, for the same price.
