Contest Rules
General: By submitting an entry to this contest, sponsored by Special Events Marketing & The Talent Pool LLC dba The Ultimate Home Showcase hereinafter referred to as “Showcase” and 5 Day Kitchens (sponsor), the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all of these Official Rules. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Online contest entries accepted on 2/21/11 at 6am and ends on 3/16/11 at 5pm. All times in this contest refer to Mountain Time. By entering the contest, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, or the contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor, whose decisions are binding and final. Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw the transmission of this sweepstakes and award the prize from among entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this contest.
Eligibility: The contest is open only to legal U.S. residents who are legal owner-occupants residing in the Greater Albuquerque, Rio Rancho or Santa Fe, who are 18 years of age or older as of 3/1/11 and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by applicable federal or state laws and regulations. Employees of the Sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, employees, advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) are not eligible. Winner must have homeowners insurance.
How to Enter: You may enter by
providing a picture and a paragraph of 50 words or less on why you think “you deserve a kitchen makeover”
obtaining the entry form at 5 Day Kitchens at 2426 Washington NE, 5 Day Kitchens at Cottonwood Mall, 5
Day Kitchens in Santa Fe 3494 Zafarano Dr. or online at www.your5daykitchen.com,

Upload your completed entry, deliver to one of 5Day Kitchens locations or to the 5 Day Kitchens Booth at
the Ultimate Home Showcase at Expo NM (the Fairgrounds) during the Showcase hours 10A-5P Saturday March 19, 2011.
Submissions will not be accepted after 5Pm Sat March 19. Free showcase admission for two adults and 1 parking
pass are available at all 5 day Kitchens showrooms. Entry must include a color picture of the existing kitchen
to be remodeled, a paragraph of 50 words or less of why your kitchen is deserving of a makeover and an entry
form including name, address, phone and email. You may only enter once. Multiple entries received from any
person will void all such additional entries. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void
and will not be accepted. Neither the Sponsor, the Showcase nor its affiliates will be responsible for entries
that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late or damaged. All entries
become the property of the Sponsor and Showcase and will not be acknowledged or returned.
To enter online, entrants must go to www.your5daykitchen.com and click on the 5 Day Kitchen banner graphic
on the home page. Entrants must complete the entry form, providing their name, complete address, phone
number, entrant’s e-mail address (optional), and date of birth (not age). At the end of the entry form,
there will be instructions for attaching a color photograph (no black and white photographs) of the “kitchen
makeover”. The photo attachment must be in a Jpeg or PDF file format.
Entry in the contest will serve as an agreement that any entrant’s and/or winner’s name only and the “before”
photograph and “after” photograph may be posted on www.your5daykitchen.com
and www.hbashowcase.com.
The entry must be submitted by the homeowner of the residence where the “Kitchen Makeover” is located; entries
cannot be submitted for another person or in another person’s name.
Selection of Winner: Twelve (12) finalists will be selected by showcase judges at the close of the showcase Sat. March 19. Finalists will be posted at the 5 day kitchens booth in the Lujan Building Sunday March 20. All finalists will be notified by phone or email Saturday evening March 19 after 7PM or Sunday March 20 before 10AM.The general public (attendees) at the showcase on Sun March 20 will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite. Multiple votes for any single entry will be disqualified. The winner will be decided by the judges based on 50% to public vote and 50% by judges. In case of tie the judges decision will be final. Winner will be notified by phone, email or mail at the numbers/ addresses provided by the winner. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If any prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries. If the winner selected is not eligible, elects not to use the prize, or if, after the home visit, it is determined the kitchen requires repairs that would preclude the renovation work or is not accessible for installation of prize, that winner will be disqualified. Any alternate winner will be randomly selected and notified by a representative of the showcase by telephone and will be required to submit to the same qualifying process. This process will continue until a winner is determined. All judgments of the Sponsor panel are final.
Prize: The prize includes a Kitchen Remodel to include: Merillat Cabinets, Hi Macs Countertops and GE Appliances. Value not to exceed - $20,000.00 Retail. Winner must claim prize within 6 months of drawing or by 9/20/11. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Transfer of the prize is prohibited. All taxes and all other expenses, costs or fees associated with the acceptance and/or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Winner must complete an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, or the prize will be forfeited and alternate winner selected.

The Sponsor, the stations listed above and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner's name, city, state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. The winner’s name and city of residence will be posted online and mailed to those who request it.
